Isabelle Thiltgès workshop in Brussels
Isabel Thiltges is a Belgian sculptor; she lived in Paris for many years, but returned to Brussels after a while. The fascinating workshop with large windows islocated in the prestigious area of Avenue Louise. Clay prototypes coexist with giant bronze sculptures: from sketches to clay, from clay to bronze - real magic is created here. Ideas about freedom and creativity take the form of freedom-loving gulls and monolithic penguins. The space at rue Général Patton, once owned by the daughter of Belgian conceptualist Marcel Brotars, today is a workshop, a small gallery and a very cozy house with a traditional art collection for most people in Belgium.
