Maria Efanova, graduate of the British Higher School of Art and Design, has designed the jewelry case for most reliable data storage device in the world, which is called 5d eternal memory crystal. The so called Superman memory stick is capable of storing up to 360  terabytes of information during 138 billion years. Thanks to the jewelry designer, the memory crystal assumed the delicate shape of the drop of water. The casing is manually made of noble metals including palladium. It’s corrosion-resistant and is as durable as the data storage device itself. The crystal is decorated with graphic image of the Fibonacci Spiral. “Currently, the production of such devices requires utilization of costly and time-consuming technology, but the situation will change dramatically before long. The production of memory crystals and readers will become more or less affordable and mainstream”, Maria Efanova states with confidence. 

Classic watch with smart technology

The US-based New York Standard Watch brand decided not to discover the continents again and released a new model inspired by the classic chained watch but with more advanced stuffing. The massive dial on the belt made of high-quality crocodile leather is certainly elegant, but the main point here is the range of useful and ultra-hi-tech features incorporated into device. All these features are displayed on the watch’s sapphire glass screen. The device also offers smartphone connectivity options and fitness tracker with useful pedometer and calorie counter just like in the Hollywood spy movies.

Several years ago, the idea of using a ring as a subway travel pass might sound like a pure science fiction, but recently ceramic rings with travel card feature called Trinity have been actually launched into production. Now you can literally pay you subway ticket fee with a subtle motion of the hand. Currently, the Trinity rings with in-built chipset have been released as a limited edition of only 500 copies. The rings were initially available only in black and white colors, but after February 14th the series also added blue and pink versions.
